-Tell us about your self...where you are from, schooling, hobbies, what you do now, etc.
Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. Grew up in skateboarding and drawing pictures. and eventually gave one up for the other.
Attended the University of Utah.
As for hobbies... I like taking pictures of trains.
What I do now is work in the studio most every day and mess around.
-Where do you get your inspiration from?
Optical Illusions, Graffiti, Americana, Comics, Painters Painting, Technology, Popular Culture, Early Animation, the Black Keys, Electric Wizard, and stuff at the Hardware Store.
-How long have you been painting and drawing?
Well... just like most every other kid.. I've been drawing since I was very young.
I painted my first painting with oil's the summer out of High School.
-What is the best thing about being an artist?
Its a real good excuse to draw pictures and paint all day....
-What is the worst thing about being an artist?
Self Management / Time Management
-What are 3 of your top 5 movies or books?
well.. the 'Goonies' has to be in there with out a doubt.
I really liked 'Down By Law'
and 'Downtown 81'
and thats a tuff one for books...
